Our Vision

Thriving places where cycling creates lasting connections, independence, and happiness for children in remote places.

Our Mission

The Bike Creative will become a charity to provide cycling opportunities for children in rural and remote communities across Western Australia. We will work with schools and communities to supply bikes, practical cycling skills, and sustainable community programs to help children develop independence, confidence, and lifelong healthy habits while strengthening community connections through the joy of cycling.

Our Approach

  • Evidence-Based Impact

Existing research suggests that cycling programs like ours can have positive impacts on children’s mental health, wellbeing, and overall development, guiding our program design and implementation.

  • Equal Access

We believe every child should have the opportunity to experience the freedom and benefits of cycling, regardless of their location.

  • Skills Development

Our school-based workshops aim to teach bike maintenance, safe riding techniques, to build cycling confidence in young people.

  • Community Infrastructure

We will work with local volunteers and positive mentors to develop cycling trails and facilities that provide ongoing opportunities for physical activity and skill development

“The kids are happy which makes the adults happier. They go to bed earlier because they are tired and they want to get up and ride their bikes.”

“My daughter came home and said Dad I’ve got a bike. I didn’t believe her but then she said she built it, she put the pedals and the wheels on. I was so happy.”
