Our Vision

We work with local people and school principals to help create places where cycling builds independence and happiness for children in remote WA.

Our Mission

Children in remote places without access to spare parts get creative with bikes. They share parts and knowledge. We want to see more children laughing and smiling as they ride down a hill with their friends. That’s why we’re working on creating opportunities for children in remote schools in Western Australia, starting in the East Kimberley region.

In 2026 we will work with schools in remote places to supply bikes and teach children how to ride, fix and be safe on them. In our first bike holiday program we saw happy children everywhere. They had independent transport, went to sleep earlier and woke up ready to ride their bikes again. The adults were happier because the children were happier.

We need to do more of this. Then we need to work with schools, families and positive role models to create lasting opportunities that continue to make children happy on their bikes.

News

“The kids are happy which makes the adults happier. They go to bed earlier because they are tired and they want to get up and ride their bikes.”
